"Empires" circa 1991 is AquaMan's last piece of work as a unit in the foreseeable future as Jordan prepares to move to the Bay Area in California and Matt reigns over the Tennessee mountains in Nashville. This mixtape is the legacy that AquaMan has left behind; their "empire." Side A is filled with brand new tracks that were recorded post-100,000 Leagues during a farewell session where the gang just focused on having fun, clownin', and reminiscing on how far they've come, both in terms of music and their lives' journeys. Side B contains a look into the past at some unreleased gems that did not find a place on 100,000 Leagues, but still hold a special spot in the foundation of the AquaMan legacy.

"We've been building empires since we were born, thus the 1991. We've been doing it together since 2003 in 7th grade. We'll keep doing it until the day we're in the ground. Progress is the name of the game."
